My journey as an interior designer began 31 years ago when I opened a retail homewares store. At the time, I was a mother of two small and busy boys, I sold mainly homewares and small furniture pieces. However, after seven years of running the store, I decided to sell to spend more time with my family.
My husband and I then began building luxury homes and luxury holiday homes on the Mornington Peninsula, and that's where I discovered my true passion for interior design. I designed all the joinery, finishes, and furnishings for these homes, working alongside a builder and learning the building process. Eventually, I became an owner-builder and began project coordinating my own projects.
Ten years ago, I was approached to design and project coordinate the trades on a renovation, which marked the beginning of my business, Unique Exclusive Designs. Since then, I have designed large luxury homes, and my passion for interior design has only grown stronger as my knowledge and skills have expanded.
My approach to interior design is unique, and I approach each project with a fresh perspective, taking into account the client's vision and incorporating it into the design. I believe that a well-designed space should reflect the personality and lifestyle of the client while being functional, practical, and aesthetically pleasing.
My clients appreciate my attention to detail, my ability to incorporate their ideas into the design, and my dedication to creating spaces that are both functional and practical.
